konnte nicht widerstehen das neue extrem-theme des entwicklers des von mir sehr veränderten kubrick-themes zu testen: et voila! «k2» beta1r57.
bis mein design einsatzbereit ist wird die site im look von «k2» bleiben.

In anbetracht der uhrzeit — oder besser : der fortgeschrittenen stunde — hadere ich mal wieder mit der fertigstellung meiner website; das woran sie krankt ist das absolut notwendige menu. dumm das. hätte ich wohl früher in das konzept der site integrieren sollen. und nebenbei kämpfe ich noch mit einer python namens css. schluss für heut’. und aus!

After getting my hands deep inside the bodies and structures of the undiscovered world of css layout — well, I speak about myself — I came to the clue: use Firefox to browse the World Wide Web; or at least: buy a Mac and surf with Safari!
You gonna ask why? Well, the «great» (in numbers, not quality) Internet Explorer does NOT like css standards and misbehave so much that I would expect no correct page-rendering at ALL. Point.

Now I’m running WordPress 1.5.2 — a new version, just 2 days ago released. After doing some essential background cleaning and testing — localized the WP-Installation to my desktop computer and doing a backup of the database — now the journal is running again …
Wenn hier von Zeit zu Zeit farbige gepunktete Linien auftauchen und die Frage «Was ist das?» auftaucht — Die Antwort ist dann einfach: Ich arbeite immer noch an dem Design der «Site» und benötige diese Linien für Layout Zwecke. Wenn ich damit fertig bin werde ich sie ausschalten. Versprochen.
If you see from time to time some lime/red/aqua/blue colored dotted lines at my site and you gonna ask yourself: «What is that?!» The simple answer: I am still working on the design and need these lines for layout things. When I’m done I gonna switch them off. For sure. I promise. Really.
Tag 1 der neuen — noch nicht ganz fertigen — Website. Alles wird gut … und besser. Nachdem die Installation von WordPress ein Klacks war — dank der doch relativ guten Dokumentation — gilt es nun Content zu generieren & kleinere «Dinge» auszubügeln.
